A man in his 40s has been arrested after threatening a part-time convenience store worker with a weapon in Incheon.
The Incheon Michuhol Police Station has taken a man identified only as A into custody and is investigating him on charges of aggravated intimidation for threatening a convenience store worker with a weapon.
A is accused of threatening a part-time worker, identified as B, also in his 40s, with a weapon at a convenience store in Michuhol-gu, Incheon, at around 9 p.m. Wednesday. Officers who responded to a report of the incident arrested A at the scene. He was intoxicated at the time, police said.
"A and B did not know each other," a police official said, adding that authorities plan to decide how to proceed with A after completing their investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
