E-mart24 revamps triangle kimbap lineup, keeping prices unchanged

E-mart24 is relaunching its triangle kimbap lineup with upgraded ingredients. The renewal covers 25 varieties, including its "Deo Keun Samgak" (larger-size) series, and will roll out sequentially over four weeks starting Tuesday.

The move reflects a shift in convenience store ready-meal consumption toward what the company describes as a focus on a genuinely satisfying meal. E-mart24 said it is raising the quality of core ingredients — seaweed, rice and fillings — to sharpen its competitive edge.

The seaweed will carry 2.4 times more sesame oil than before, and the rice will contain 2.4 times more whole sesame seeds. The tuna mayo variety will use Dongwon tuna, with a dedicated recipe developed to optimize the tuna-to-mayonnaise ratio. Triangle kimbap containing meat — such as bulgogi and spicy pork — will use domestically sourced Hando seasoned pork.

A promotional discount is also available. Customers who scan a QR code through the E-mart24 app and pay with a participating card — NH NongHyup Card, BC Card or Samsung Card — will receive a 30 percent discount on triangle kimbap purchases throughout July.
