Gyeryong Construction earns top rating in ministry's mutual cooperation assessment for 7th consecutive year

Gyeryong Construction announced Wednesday that it received the top "excellent" rating in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's 2026 mutual cooperation assessment for construction companies. The company has now earned the top rating for seven consecutive years, from 2020 through this year, demonstrating sustained co-growth with its subcontractors.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport conducts the mutual cooperation assessment annually to encourage cooperative relationships between general and specialty contractors, as well as between large and small- and medium-sized construction firms, and to promote a culture of shared growth. The assessment covers joint contracting and subcontracting performance, subcontractor development and credibility ratings, with top-scoring companies receiving preferential points in public construction bids.

The company's latest top rating reflects its consistent efforts to strengthen its cooperative framework with subcontractors, establish fair trading practices and embed a culture of shared growth.

Gyeryong Construction runs a range of co-growth programs for its subcontractors, including regular consultative meetings, technology and quality improvement training, financial support programs, and initiatives to strengthen safety and health management capabilities.

The company also works to provide a stable business environment for subcontractors by making early subcontracting payments and supporting sales growth. It expands subcontracting opportunities for partners holding patents or new technologies, and supports co-growth through a joint cooperation council and programs to recommend and reward outstanding subcontractors.

Meanwhile, Gyeryong Construction was recently selected as the preferred bidder for a private investment project to build the Seongnam-Seocho Expressway, which is designed to ease traffic congestion around the Yangjae interchange on the Gyeongbu Expressway.
