'K-Pop Demon Hunters' star Arden Cho marries doctor she met on dating app

Arden Cho, the 40-year-old Korean American actor who voiced Rumi — leader of the idol group Huntrix — in the Netflix animated series "K-Pop Demon Hunters," has married.

Vogue reported Thursday that Cho wed orthopedic surgeon Christopher Lee on June 27 in Florence, Italy.

The celebration began with a hanbok welcome party, followed by two ceremonies and a reception. The couple drew attention by donning hanbok and performing paebaek, a traditional Korean wedding ritual in which the bride and groom bite into jujubes together.

The two first connected through a dating app, despite having lived in the same city — Los Angeles — for more than two decades without ever crossing paths. "It felt like we met exactly when we were supposed to," Cho told Vogue.

Cho and Lee got engaged in March 2025 in Maui, Hawaii. Cho shared photos and video of the beachside proposal at the time, writing that Lee was "my calm in the chaos, my anchor in the whirlwind of my life" and that "we found our forever love together."

Cho has built a strong reputation through prominent roles in series including "Teen Wolf" and "Chicago Med." She gained particular recognition last year for voicing Rumi, the leader of demon-fighting girl group Huntrix, in "K-Pop Demon Hunters."
