Thicker 18mm panels used for doors and interior shelves to reduce warping
Hyundai Livart launched its new kitchen cabinet line, M200G, on Wednesday.
The line's defining feature is the use of thicker panels designed to minimize warping over time. While standard kitchen cabinet doors and interior shelves typically use 15mm panels, the M200G applies 18mm material throughout — including upper and lower cabinet doors, interior shelves and frame posts. The company said this reduces two common problems: sagging shelves and drooping upper storage cabinets.
The hardware components also underwent rigorous testing. The company said it used only parts verified to support loads of 30 to 40 kilograms, withstand more than 40,000 door open-and-close cycles without deformation, and handle more than 80,000 drawer pull-and-push cycles without rail failure. These measures, it said, help reduce drawer sag and door warping.
"In-demand storage options have also been incorporated," the company said. "A corner pantry lower cabinet is available to make use of hard-to-reach corner spaces during kitchen renovation, and a magnetic board that allows cookware and utensils to be attached and detached from the wall can also be added."
The M200G is available in 27 door colors — including cream white and white oak — paired with six handle options such as ivory and oak. The line is backed by a three-year quality warranty with free after-sales service, which the company said is the first such program in the domestic furniture industry.
