FnGuide hires Lee Hyo-jin from private school pension fund to lead fund evaluation

FnGuide announced Monday that it has hired Lee Hyo-jin, a veteran of the Private School Teachers' Pension, as the new head of its fund evaluation division.

Lee spent about 25 years at the pension fund, handling investment strategy, asset allocation, direct management of domestic bonds, alternative investments, and the evaluation and performance management of outsourced funds.

She holds a law degree from Hanyang University and a master's in business administration with a concentration in financial investment, also from Hanyang University.

FnGuide said it plans to use the hire to strengthen core businesses including fund evaluation, fund performance assessment, asset management consulting and outsourced fund evaluation, while upgrading services for institutional investors.

Through its fund evaluation business, FnGuide provides fund assessment, data services and consulting.

"Lee is an expert with extensive experience in pension fund asset management and outsourced fund evaluation," a FnGuide official said. "We expect her accumulated expertise to raise the professional standards of our fund evaluation business and contribute to improving service quality for institutional investors."
