Seongbuk-gu district mayor Lee Seung-ro elected head of Seoul District Mayors' Council

The 9th elected-term Seoul District Mayors' Council held a plenary session Tuesday afternoon at PJ Hotel in Myeong-dong, Jung-gu, and elected Lee Seung-ro — the three-term district mayor of Seongbuk-gu — as council chair for a one-year term.

The council also named Yoo Chan-jong of Jongno-gu, Jin Kyo-hoon of Gangseo-gu, Kim Hyun-ki of Gangnam-gu and Yoo Bo-hwa of Seongdong-gu as vice chairs, and Ryu Sam-young of Dongjak-gu as auditor.
