A consortium of GS Engineering & Construction, Hyundai Engineering & Construction and Kolon Global announced Tuesday it will launch pre-sales in August of "Sangok Station Xi Hillstate & Hanulchae," a large residential complex to be built through the Sangok District 6 housing redevelopment project at 10 Sangok-dong, Bupyeong-gu, Incheon.
The complex will rise to a maximum of 33 above-ground floors with 3 below-ground levels across 20 buildings, totaling 2,706 units. Of those, 1,289 units with exclusive use areas ranging from 50 to 84 square meters will be offered in the public pre-sale. The lineup spans compact 50-square-meter units to the more sought-after 59-, 75- and 84-square-meter types, giving buyers a broad range of options.
The complex sits directly adjacent to exits 5 and 6 of Sangok Station on subway Line 7, offering riders a one-seat journey to the Gangnam area without transfers. The ongoing Cheongna Line extension is expected to further improve access to key districts in Seoul and Cheongna International City once completed.
By road, the complex benefits from proximity to the Bupyeong interchange on the Gyeongin Expressway and the Jungdong interchange on the Seoul Metropolitan Ring Expressway, providing strong vehicle access to destinations across the greater metropolitan area.
The development also offers strong educational surroundings and abundant green space. Sangokbuk Elementary School and Magok Elementary School are within walking distance for children, and the area is home to a cluster of well-regarded schools including Sangok Middle School, Cheongcheon Middle School, Seil High School, Myeongsin Girls' High School and Incheon Foreign Language High School.
Wonjeoksan Park and Wonjeoksan Sports Park, centered on Wonjeoksan, are easily accessible from the complex, along with Moegol Amusement Park, Jangsusan and Incheon Butterfly Park, offering residents ample green space within the city. The complex also shares a living zone with the nearby Bucheon neighborhoods of Sangdong and Jungdong, where residents can take advantage of Hyundai Department Store, E-mart and Sangdong Lake Park, as well as local administrative and convenience facilities including Bupyeong Police Station, Bupyeong-gu district office and Lotte Mart.
The buildings are oriented primarily to face south to maximize natural light and ventilation, and select unit types feature specialized layouts including four-bay configurations, pantries and walk-in closets. The complex will be designed as a car-free, park-style development at ground level, with a unified central plaza connecting walking paths, rest areas and a daycare center, complemented by contemporary landscaping and water features.
The residents-only community center will include a fitness club, an indoor golf practice range, a screen golf facility and a sauna, as well as a dedicated education zone featuring a small library developed in partnership with Kyobo Book Centre and a reading room. A guest house offering various room types — including studio, one-room and two-room configurations — will also be available for visitors.
"Sangok Station Xi Hillstate & Hanulchae combines an unrivaled location right at the doorstep of Sangok Station on Line 7 with the brand strength of major construction companies," a GS Engineering & Construction pre-sales official said. "In keeping with its status as a landmark complex for the area, we will offer a diverse range of large-scale community amenities and differentiated product features designed to maximize residential satisfaction."
Meanwhile, the Korea Real Estate Board's weekly apartment price trend survey showed that apartment prices in Bupyeong-gu rose 0.08 percent last week, up from 0.07 percent the week before.
