Mercedes plows into Daechi-dong hagwon building; police probe driver for drunk, drugged driving

A Mercedes-Benz sedan crashed into a well-known exam-prep hagwon building in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on Tuesday at around 5:30 p.m.

According to the Seoul Suseo Police Station, the vehicle plowed into the building in Daechi-dong, Gangnam-gu.

No injuries were reported, as no pedestrians were in the area at the time of the crash.

However, a car parked near the building sustained some damage.

Police plan to investigate the Mercedes driver for possible drunk or drugged driving.
