The Seoul Metropolitan Government, led by Mayor Oh Se-hoon, announced a second-half personnel reshuffle of senior officials at grade 4 and above, effective Monday.
The city said the reassignments were designed to place officials with proven track records and specialized expertise in key positions, with the aim of raising the quality of core projects under the ninth elected administration and strengthening the city government's capacity for execution.
"Under the principle of giving opportunity and responsibility where results have been delivered, we have placed the right people in the right positions to steadily advance the city's core priorities," said Kwak Jong-bin, director of the Administrative Bureau. "Building on this reshuffle, we will generate overwhelming, citizen-felt results to complete our vision of Seoul as a special city for quality of life."
