LS Electric to showcase AI power integration solutions at Vietnam exhibition

LS Electric announced Thursday it will participate in Elex Vietnam 2026, an electrical and electronics industry exhibition running July 15-17 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

The company will set up a 144-square-meter exhibition space — 44 pyeong, with 1 pyeong equal to 3.3 square meters — divided into four zones: AI data center, digital transformation (DX), smart power management and smart factory.

The AI data center zone will feature efficient power infrastructure solutions designed to meet surging data processing demand and the growth of the AI industry. LS Electric's high-capacity remote power panels (RPP) and continuous transfer switches (CTTS) deliver large volumes of power stably from within a data center all the way to servers, and ensure seamless switching between utility and emergency power in the event of a power fault.

The DX zone will display K-EMS 2.0, a next-generation AI-based national grid management platform. K-EMS 2.0 is an integrated national-level grid control platform that LS Electric developed independently — only the fifth company in the world to do so. It optimizes power generation control to dramatically cut operating costs, and uses real-time safety analysis to eliminate the risk of large-scale blackouts at the source.

The smart power management zone will present core transmission and distribution solutions — including transformers, switchboards and circuit breakers — alongside energy storage system (ESS)-based solutions. The smart factory zone will unveil SMI (Smart Management Insight), a digital twin-based factory operating system developed in-house by LS Electric.

According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), power demand across ASEAN has grown more than 60 percent over the past decade, with average annual growth of around 5 percent projected from this year through 2030. LS Electric said it plans to establish itself as a key partner in the ASEAN power market by leading with packaged power infrastructure solutions tailored to individual customer needs.

"Through this exhibition, we will actively introduce to local customers the power and automation technologies we have built up over more than 50 years, along with our AI-based integrated solutions, and contribute to building a stable power grid and sustainable industrial development across ASEAN," an LS Electric official said.
