Renault Korea employees join plogging event near Busan factory

Renault Korea announced Thursday that more than 100 employees took part in its "R:GREEN Plogging" event near the Busan factory on Wednesday, held under the slogan "Green Renault, Green Future."

The event followed a course from the Busan factory to Sinho Park, near the coastline by the Sinho Industrial Complex, with participants walking nearly 10,000 steps while collecting litter along the way.

The event drew added significance from the participation of CEO Nicolas Parey and senior executives alongside other employees.

"This plogging event was a meaningful activity in which our employees came together as one team to put into practice the values of a sustainable future," Parey said after the event. "We will continue making small but meaningful efforts to become a company that exerts a positive influence on our community and the environment."

Renault Korea said it plans to continue pursuing initiatives aimed at a sustainable future.

Meanwhile, the company has been running a range of marketing campaigns to expand its customer reach, including a recent "Hello, Hybrid E-Tech" campaign that lets customers experience its full lineup of hybrid models.
