S line trim gains driver-assist and convenience upgrades
Four trims available from 69.9 million won, spanning TDI and gasoline engines
Audi Korea on Thursday launched updated versions of its premium SUVs, the Q5 and Q5 Sportback, with enhanced specifications across both models.
The new Q5 is built on the PPC platform, which Audi developed for internal combustion engine and plug-in hybrid vehicles. The update retains the existing design and digital experience while focusing on strengthening the vehicles' competitive edge.
The most significant change is the expanded standard equipment on the S line trim. Adaptive air suspension is now standard, allowing ride height to be adjusted according to road conditions and driving mode. Adaptive Cruise Assist Plus, which supports lane-keeping and lane-change assistance, is also included as standard, along with a head-up display and a 360-degree surround-view camera.
The lineup is offered in diesel and gasoline variants. The Q5 40 TDI Quattro produces a maximum output of 204 horsepower and is the first Audi diesel model to feature a mild hybrid plus system. The Q5 40 TFSI Quattro also delivers 204 horsepower, while the Q5 45 TFSI Quattro puts out 271.9 horsepower. All models come standard with Audi's permanent all-wheel-drive Quattro system and a seven-speed automatic transmission.
The interior features an 11.9-inch Virtual Cockpit Plus and a 14.5-inch MMI touch display. The vehicles also support an AI-based Audi Assistant and an application store offering services including YouTube, Spotify and Naver Maps.
The S line trim comes standard with 20-inch Audi Sport wheels, the S line exterior package and a Bang & Olufsen 3D premium sound system. Matrix LED headlamps, digital OLED taillamps, 21-inch wheels and a front passenger display are available as options.
The Audi Q5 is offered in four trims — the 40 TDI Quattro S line, 40 TFSI Quattro Advanced, 40 TFSI Quattro S line and 45 TFSI Quattro S line. Prices start at 69.9 million won ($46,300) for the Q5 and 72.9 million won for the Q5 Sportback.
Meanwhile, Audi Korea is broadening its customer reach through a range of marketing activities, including the "Audi Summer Tour 2026," held in Korea in partnership with German Bundesliga club FC Bayern Munich from Aug. 1 to 8.
