Broadcaster Lee Kyung-sil apologizes for being noisy on KTX train

Broadcaster Lee Kyung-sil has apologized for causing a disturbance aboard a KTX train.

Lee shared travel photos and a recap on her social media Thursday, writing that she had just returned from "a fulfilling overnight trip to Busan with college friends for the first time in a very long time." She added that the group had been coordinating the trip for a month to work around everyone's busy schedules.

Lee said she boarded a Busan-bound KTX on Tuesday and described the mood as festive from the start. "The three of us sat in a row in seats A, B and C, and the trip began with everyone in high spirits. We were talking away in that mood and got asked to keep it down. I'm sorry," she wrote.

She added that she had "momentarily lost her senses" in the excitement of traveling with friends, and noted that her hearing may not be what it used to be. She apologized to fellow passengers for the unintended inconvenience.

Lee also wrote that the group enjoyed a generous meal before heading to Busan Station and boarding the 7:54 p.m. KTX back to Seoul. "Thank you for the overnight Busan trip with my dream friends," she said.
