Lee says S. Korea, Mongolia reach CEPA agreement in principle, target $1b in trade by 2030

President Lee Jae Myung said Thursday that South Korea and Mongolia had reached an agreement in principle on a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement and pledged to work together to achieve $1 billion in bilateral trade by 2030. Speaking at a joint press conference, Lee said the two countries would expand economic, trade and investment cooperation, strengthen collaboration in supply chains and critical minerals, and build on the CEPA deal to drive tangible growth in bilateral trade.
