Pocari Sweat named official drink of 2026 KBO All-Star Game

Dong-A Otsuka said its Pocari Sweat brand served as the official beverage of the 2026 KBO League All-Star Game, held July 10 and 11 at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul, where the company also ran a heat-illness prevention campaign in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Sports Safety Foundation.

The company operated a range of interactive programs built around "five rules for preventing heat-related illness," covering hydration, use of shaded areas, adequate rest, use of cooling equipment and knowledge of emergency first-aid measures.

A public-service advertisement on heat-illness prevention was screened on the stadium's scoreboard, and fans were invited to take part in a true-or-false quiz event. At a "Beat the Heat Strike" booth, visitors threw soft balls at targets to identify keywords from the five prevention rules.

"Preventing heat-related illness is critically important even at sporting events," a Dong-A Otsuka official in charge of the heat-illness prevention initiative said. "We will continue to use the Pocari Sweat brand to help create a healthy and safe environment for sports fans."
