T'way Air holds aviation career lecture at National Aviation Museum

T'way Air, in partnership with the National Aviation Museum, held an aviation career education lecture for students from Deungmyeong Middle School in Seoul at the National Aviation Museum in Gangseo-gu on Friday.

The lecture was a public-private career education program co-hosted by the National Aviation Museum and T'way Air, aimed at deepening students' understanding of the aviation industry and broadening their career options.

Lee Yun-ji, a manager in T'way Air's sales division, served as the speaker, introducing the "route management" role — a position that oversees the profitability and sales of airline routes. Drawing on firsthand experience, she walked students through the relationship between airfares and passenger demand, the process of planning new routes, developing sales strategies and managing earnings performance.

She highlighted route management as a core strategic function within an airline and the competencies it requires, using real-world examples to give students practical guidance in exploring their career paths.

T'way Air has continued a range of social contribution activities since signing an MOU with the National Aviation Museum in 2023, including "Dream Talk" career lectures, aviation concerts and aviation culture content production, all aimed at fostering greater understanding of the aviation industry.

Last month, the airline donated proceeds from a 2026 Safety Campaign ESG in-house charity bazaar — held in April — to Save the Children's program supporting recreational activities for children with disabilities.

"We hope these regular aviation career lectures give students who dream of the future a meaningful opportunity to think deeply about the direction of their careers," a T'way Air official said. "We will continue to expand our practical education support activities for the next generation of talent."

Meanwhile, T'way Air recently voted at a shareholders meeting to change its name to Trinity Airways, with operations under the new name set to begin after completing the required approval process with domestic and international regulatory authorities.
