RESCENE upgrades to roomier digs: 'We all used to shower together — now we have 3 bathrooms'

RESCENE, the girl group hailed as a miracle from a small-agency act, has moved into a spacious new home.

Members Liv, Jenna and May appeared as guests on Sunday's episode of the MBC variety program "Choewoosasan."

The members boasted that the group had recently relocated to a new place spanning about 221 square meters.

"It's still a villa-style unit, but the space is so much bigger. We used to have one bathroom — now we have three," May said. At their previous place, all five members had to share a single bathroom. The members also noted that their new bathroom even has a bathtub.

They added that the number of rooms had grown as well. "We don't each have our own room, but we used to share two-and-three — now it's two, two and one," they said. The solo room went to Won, the group's leader and oldest member.

RESCENE built their careers under difficult conditions at a small entertainment agency. The members trained in a below-ground CPX studio that leaked water and had no air conditioning, and their hunger for the stage reportedly led them to perform at elementary school field days.

On Saturday's episode of the MBC variety show "Omniscient Interfering View," the group showed cameras around their new home. The members could barely contain their excitement. "There's an air conditioner in the living room!" one said. "You could sleep in the bathroom!" said another.
