Lee Seung-chan claimed his second career victory on the KPGA David Golf Tour, the circuit's second-tier tour.
Lee fired a 4-under-par round Tuesday in the final second round at Solago Country Club's Sol Course (par 71) in Taean, South Chungcheong Province, finishing at 5-under 137 to edge the group of tied runners-up by one stroke and win the tour's 11th event. The tournament carried a purse of 100 million won ($66,400), with the winner's share at 20 million won.
The left-handed golfer captured his first professional title at the tour's sixth event in May last year, adding a second trophy just over a year later.
All three of Lee's titles — his 2018 MK Solago Cup amateur championship, won during his high school years, and both professional victories — have come at Solago Country Club.
Lee, who secured a regular tour card for this season by finishing 10th in the combined Challenge Tour points standings last season, said the Sol Course is buffeted by strong sea breezes but that he felt confident having already won there. "My goal this year is to finish inside the top 70 on the Genesis points list and keep my tour card," he added.
Ahn Seung-ju (25), Baek Ju-yeop (39, Pyeonghwa Food) and Kim Hyeon-uk (22, NH Nonghyup) shared second place at 4-under 138.
