Pringles launches limited-edition 'Taste of America' flavors inspired by Chicago and Texas

Pringles announced Wednesday the launch of two limited-edition flavors — Meat Cheese Lasagna and Spicy Texas BBQ — inspired by iconic American regional cuisines.

The new products draw on Chicago-style lasagna and Texas-style barbecue for their flavor profiles. The Meat Cheese Lasagna variety captures the taste of Chicago-style lasagna through a rich meat tomato sauce rounded out with thyme and cheddar cheese. The Spicy Texas BBQ combines a smoky base with a sweet, full-bodied barbecue sauce and a subtle kick of heat.

Consumer response was enthusiastic at a Naver pre-launch on July 6. A launch commemorative set — offering goods or coupons with the purchase of 10 cans of Pringles, including the new flavors — sold out on the first day.

Pringles plans to release limited-edition merchandise, including a "Road Trip" mug, plate and picnic mat, through select retail channels. To mark the summer vacation season, the brand will operate a themed display at Vivaldi Park in Hongcheon, Gangwon Province, and offer product sampling at the Harley-Davidson Collections pop-up store in Seongsu.
