Lotte World Aquarium in Songpa-gu, Seoul, will open a new immersive exhibition space called "Aqua Gallery: Water Light Garden" on Thursday. The space, which replaces the aquarium's below-ground jellyfish zone, combines Korean traditional aesthetics with media art. About 3,800 small freshwater fish swim through tanks of various shapes, while lighting and mirror installations offer visitors an immersive experience and a popular backdrop for photographs.
