Samsung Heavy Industries disclosed Friday that its second-quarter consolidated operating profit rose 58.7 percent from a year earlier to 325 billion won ($221 million).
Revenue for the same period climbed 20.4 percent to 3.23 trillion won.
Net profit for the period came to 222.8 billion won, up 4.9 percent, according to preliminary figures.
