Travel and leisure platform Yeogieo-ttae has prepared a two-week promotion for travelers heading to Thailand this summer, offering accommodation discounts for destinations including Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya and Chiang Mai.
The company is issuing discount coupons of up to 35,000 won ($24) for Thailand accommodation bookings through Aug. 9. The coupons, valid for two weeks from that date, can be stacked with the platform's own 12 percent overseas accommodation coupon pack issued through its app, further reducing lodging costs. The discount tiers are 35,000 won for bookings of 800,000 won or more, 20,000 won for bookings of 500,000 won or more, and 10,000 won for bookings of 300,000 won or more.
"There is a clear trend among recent travelers toward nearby overseas destinations, and Thailand is one of the most popular vacation spots," said Kang Hee-kyung, head of Yeogieo-ttae's affiliate marketing strategy team. "Thailand has something for everyone — from food and shopping to relaxation — making it an ideal summer getaway."
