NI Steel disclosed Monday that its second-quarter operating profit on a standalone basis rose 4.2 percent from a year earlier to 7.84 billion won ($5.35 million).
Revenue for the same period climbed 20.99 percent to 76.24 billion won.
Net profit for the period fell 5.62 percent to 4.85 billion won, according to preliminary figures.
