Hanwha Ocean reported Monday that its second-quarter operating profit rose 98 percent year-on-year to 736.1 billion won ($502 million), according to a regulatory filing.
Revenue for the same period climbed 65.2 percent to 5.44 trillion won.
Net profit for the period came in at 692.6 billion won, up 366.4 percent, in preliminary results.
