Purchase benefits can also be claimed through the Samsung.com app after activation.
In addition, Samsung Electronics plans to offer a "double storage" discount to pre-order customers. The promotion applies to customers who pre-order the 256GB models of the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Fold8 or Flip8, allowing them to upgrade to a 512GB model — doubling their storage capacity.
Customers who purchase the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra or Galaxy Z Fold8 in the 512GB configuration can pay an additional 310,700 won to receive the 1TB storage model with 16GB of memory.
50% residual value guarantee on device return — Samsung Electronics said it will also open enrollment in its "New Galaxy AI Subscription Club" starting Tuesday, alongside the pre-order launch. Samsung Electronics said the three-year plan, first introduced with the Galaxy S26 series in February, has now been extended to the latest Galaxy Z series, with loss coverage added as a new benefit. Members of the New Galaxy AI Subscription Club receive a residual value guarantee of up to 50 percent upon device return, Samsung Care Plus coverage and discounts on accessory packages.
For the Galaxy Z Flip8 two-year plan, Samsung has introduced a "Flip Youth Subscription" tier that raises the residual value guarantee on device return from 40 percent to 50 percent — matching the one-year plan's benefit.
