A middle school student who was rescued after falling into a pool at Sangseong Falls on Biseulsan in Daegu has died.
According to police and fire department authorities, the 15-year-old victim, identified only by the surname initial A, fell into water 1.5 to 2 meters deep at Sangseong Falls in Yuga-eup, Dalseong-gun, at around 1:46 p.m. on Thursday while playing in the water with three friends.
The fire department rescued him unconscious and took him to a hospital. He died the following day, Friday, while receiving treatment.
