KT Corp faces sanctions decision Wednesday over data breach affecting 20,000 customers

The Personal Information Protection Commission will hold a plenary session Wednesday to determine sanctions against KT Corp over a hacking incident that leaked customer personal data and enabled unauthorized micropayment charges. Industry sources say the fine imposed on KT Corp could reach as high as 190 billion won ($130 million).
