KG Steel said Wednesday its second-quarter consolidated operating profit rose 16.86 percent year-on-year to 43.1 billion won ($29.4 million).
Revenue for the same period grew 11.34 percent to 896.4 billion won.
Net profit for the period came in at 93.4 billion won, up 123.75 percent, according to preliminary figures.
