HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering disclosed in a regulatory filing Wednesday that its second-quarter consolidated operating profit rose 72.5% from a year earlier to 1.65 trillion won ($1.12 billion).
Revenue for the quarter rose 20.2% on-year to 8.93 trillion won.
Net profit for the period came to 1.59 trillion won, a preliminary figure representing a 256.6% increase from a year earlier.
