Hyundai Corporation disclosed Wednesday that its second-quarter consolidated operating profit rose 81.64 percent year-on-year to 62.94 billion won ($42.9 million).
Revenue for the same period climbed 46.8 percent to 2.82 trillion won.
Net profit for the period came to 40.3 billion won, a preliminary figure reflecting a 154.75 percent increase.
