Hotel Shilla's Q2 operating profit surges 606% on-year to W61.1b

Hotel Shilla said Friday its second-quarter consolidated operating profit rose 606 percent year-on-year to 61.14 billion won ($42.4 million).

Revenue for the same period fell 5.2 percent to 971.83 billion won, according to preliminary figures.

Net profit for the period came to 21.45 billion won, swinging to a profit from a loss a year earlier.
