HDC posted second-quarter operating profit of 228.38 billion won ($160 million) on a consolidated basis, up 37.2 percent from a year earlier, the company disclosed Tuesday.
Revenue for the same period fell 16.4 percent to 1.52 trillion won.
Net profit for the period came to 263.36 billion won, a preliminary figure reflecting a 169.4 percent increase.
