Korea Zinc posted an operating profit of 587.11 billion won ($411 million) in the second quarter on a consolidated basis, up 126.8 percent from a year earlier, the company disclosed Wednesday.
Revenue for the same period rose 66.6 percent to 6.37 trillion won.
Net profit for the period came to 351.54 billion won, a preliminary 6.6 percent increase from a year earlier.
