LG Group posted consolidated operating profit of 532.98 billion won ($377 million) in the second quarter, up 92.5 percent from a year earlier, the company disclosed Thursday.
Revenue for the same period rose 19 percent to 2.14 trillion won.
Net profit for the period came to 533.84 billion won, a preliminary figure reflecting a 118.6 percent increase.
