BTS member V has again asked fans to respect his privacy, less than a month after making a similar plea.
V and Jungkook held a Weverse Live session Tuesday (local time) after their performance in Baltimore, recounting how they ran into about 20 fans at their hotel gym at 2 a.m.
V said he could understand fans using the gym to work out, but asked them to refrain from showing up just to see him and Jungkook. He also issued a half-joking warning that he might post footage of a fan who had approached and spoken to him there.
Jungkook relayed the incident in a lighthearted tone but added a pointed remark: "Isn't that our private time?"
Last month, V used Weverse to ask fans to stop coming to his hotel. "I'd prefer not to share where I'm staying," he said, adding that such visits also affected his condition ahead of performances.
Jungkook had similarly spoken out earlier, expressing discomfort over fans who had shown up at his home. He has experienced multiple incidents of fans trespassing at his residence, with those involved coming from countries including Brazil, China and Japan.
V also revealed during Tuesday's Weverse Live that he has been receiving treatment for a hearing impairment for about two and a half years. He described the condition by saying that if his left ear hears at a level of 100, his right ear hears at about 30. His symptoms worsened during mandatory military service, and he has continued treatment while on the overseas tour, taking medication throughout.
