Cheongdo-gun in North Gyeongsang Province held a review session to assess major pending projects, with all department heads, town and township chiefs, and team-level civil servants in attendance, the county announced Friday.
The session was organized to comprehensively review projects underway in line with the 9th elected-term county administration's policy direction, share updates on key pending initiatives, and identify areas for improvement and adjustment.
Each department reported on the direction of 19 major projects, focusing on their necessity, feasibility, fiscal conditions, and expected impact on residents. The projects covered included the construction of a Cheongdo lifestyle and culture complex, a rural hub revitalization project, a basic living hub development project, the operational status of a public enterprise corporation, and the Global Dream Stay agricultural worker housing project.
Alongside this, discussions covered anticipated challenges in the implementation process, tasks requiring follow-up, and plans for cooperation with relevant agencies.
"What we need is not administration driven by habit, but administration that thinks from the perspective of residents and takes responsibility for results," County Chief Park Gwon-hyeon said. "I hope everyone will work toward an administration that all can relate to and feel — one that moves forward together with the great people of Cheongdo."
