Dongsuh Foods announced Wednesday it is launching a brand campaign ahead of the final round of the 2026 Canu Barista Championship, giving consumers a chance to experience the expertise behind its Canu coffee brand.
The Canu Barista Championship is a barista competition organized by Dongsuh Foods to help advance South Korea's coffee culture. The final will be held Wednesday and Thursday at the Shinsegae Department Store's Gangnam branch.
For the campaign, Dongsuh Foods is releasing a series of limited-edition products, including stick coffee made from beans of the same origin used by finalists and a capsule coffee machine featuring the championship's design.
"Canu Bean Coffee Guatemala Antigua Cafetillo Bourbon Natural Micro Lot" is the premium bean selected for the September final demonstration. It is sourced from the Cafetillo farm in the highlands of Guatemala's Antigua region. The company is also releasing "Canu Guatemala Antigua SHB," an instant bean coffee harvested from the same origin as the competition beans, offering a cocoa-like sweetness and the bright acidity characteristic of Central and South American coffees.
A limited-edition capsule coffee machine, the "Canu Barista Pebble Black & Red," rounds out the lineup. The machine is based on the existing Canu Barista Pebble model, accented with a red color scheme that evokes the championship. Dongsuh Foods said it will also release digital content tied to the campaign and run consumer participation events as part of the broader rollout.
"This campaign was designed so that everyday consumers can enjoy the special coffees showcased at the Canu Barista Championship in their daily lives," a Dongsuh Foods official said. "We will consistently communicate Canu's coffee expertise through differentiated products and diverse brand activities going forward."
