Chief Justice Jo Hee-dae arrived at the Supreme Court in Seocho-gu, Seoul, on Wednesday morning. On Tuesday, Jo submitted written recommendations to President Lee Jae Myung for two final Supreme Court justice candidates — Son Bong-gi (60), a senior judge at the Daegu District Court, and Kim Seong-su (57), a senior judge at the Seoul High Court — departing from the customary practice of delivering such recommendations in person.
