Paldo will raise prices on some of its ramyun and beverage products starting Sept. 1.
The increases cover 12 cup ramyun varieties and nine beverages. Cup ramyun products — including five Wangttukkeong varieties, two dosirak products and Paldo Bibimmyeon Cup — will rise by an average of 5.5%, while beverages such as the Birak Sikhye can (238 ml) will increase by 5.8%.
Prices for bagged ramyun will remain unchanged. "We have continuously worked to improve productivity and operational efficiency in response to rising costs, but price adjustments have become unavoidable for some products," a Paldo official said. "We minimized the scope and scale of the increases out of consideration for consumers."
