Gwangjin-gu will host the "2026 Gwangjin Music Festa," a music festival for residents and visitors alike, starting at 1 p.m. on Aug. 29 near exits 2 and 3 of Jayang Station at Ttukseom Han River Park. The event is organized under District Mayor Kim Gyeong-ho.
The festival combines live music across a range of genres with a flea market, food trucks and other side events, designed to bring energy to the Jayang Station area and give residents easy access to culture and the arts. No advance registration is required — anyone can drop in freely on the day.
The festivities kick off at 1 p.m. with side events: a flea market featuring local small-business owners, food trucks and hands-on experience booths, all running until 9 p.m. to give visitors plenty to enjoy and a place to relax.
From 3 p.m., indie singers will take to the streets for "Under Bridge Busking," while a brass jazz parade winds through the festival grounds, building the atmosphere ahead of the main show.
The main concert begins at 7 p.m. with a headline lineup that includes ZIP4, Cloud Factory, musical actor Choi Jeong-won, rapper Won Shustein and singer Kim Yong-pil. The program spans band rock, pop and hip-hop, bringing together audiences of all generations for a summer night of music.
"The 2026 Gwangjin Music Festa is a festival we have prepared so that residents and visitors can come together through music and enjoy culture and the arts in their everyday lives," District Mayor Kim said. "We have a rich lineup of performances and a wide variety of side events ready, so we hope many people will come and make wonderful memories."
