Ottogi sends emergency relief supplies to flood-hit Geoje

Ottogi announced Friday that it has sent emergency relief supplies to Geoje, South Gyeongsang Province, which was battered by heavy rainfall.

The company delivered more than 1,000 items — including cup ramyun and cup rice — to the Geoje Indoor Gymnasium. The supplies will be used to provide meals for displaced residents as well as rescue workers and volunteers engaged in relief operations.

"We hope this support gives local residents even a small measure of strength," an Ottogi official said. "We sincerely wish for the swift recovery of the affected areas so that residents can return to their daily lives as soon as possible."

Meanwhile, Ottogi has continued emergency relief efforts to help stabilize the lives of residents in disaster-hit areas and speed up recovery. In March last year, the company delivered more than 10,000 items, including cup ramyun and cup rice, to the Uiseong and Sancheong areas devastated by large wildfires. In July, it sent more than 40,000 items of cup ramyun and cup rice to flood-affected areas including Sancheong, Gapyeong, Gwangju and Dangjin.
