Seoul's Dongdaemun-gu has promoted Yu Hyeon-suk, formerly head of the civil affairs and passport division, to a Grade 4 position and appointed her director of the future environment bureau.
The district also reassigned Song Ho-rim, head of Imun 1-dong, to lead the sports promotion division and moved Hong Seung-hui from the sports promotion division to head the sanitation administration division, among other Grade 4 and 5 personnel changes effective Aug. 24.
The moves mark District Mayor Choi Dong-min's second round of appointments since taking office. His first round included the postings of Chief of Staff Choi Gyeong-do, Public Affairs Officer Park Eun-young, Administrative Affairs Division Head Lee Hye-young and Senior Welfare Division Head Choi Gwang-hyeon.

Grade 4 promotion: Future Environment Bureau Director Yu Hyeon-suk.
