President Lee Jae Myung on Monday accepted the resignation of Justice Minister Jeong Seong-ho, who said deteriorating health had made it impossible for him to continue in the role.
Chief Spokesperson Kang Yu-jung announced the decision in a press notice Monday, adding that the government would move quickly to name a successor. "The government plans to proceed promptly with a follow-up appointment to ensure there is no disruption to state affairs," Kang said.
