The Guro-gu Office badminton team's Kim Hye-rin won the mixed doubles title at the 2026 Li-Ning Vietnam International Series, held Tuesday through Sunday at Bac Giang Province Sports Stadium in Vietnam. Kim partnered with Im Su-min of the Miryang City Hall team to claim the gold.
In women's doubles, Kim Hye-rin and Kim Yun-ju finished third.
In the mixed doubles final, the Kim–Im pair defeated Hong Kong's Ko Shing Hei and Hung Ho Yan 2-1 in sets to take the gold medal.
The Kim Hye-rin and Kim Yun-ju pair advanced to the women's doubles semifinals, earning a bronze medal and finishing third in the international competition.
Since its founding in late 2024, the Guro-gu Office badminton team has consistently competed in domestic and international tournaments, building its players' competitive skills and international experience.
The team's mixed doubles gold and women's doubles bronze at this tournament further demonstrated its growing competitiveness on the international stage.
Guro-gu District Mayor Jang In-hong said he was proud of the players for their strong results.
