Renault Korea launches 2027 Grand Koleos with lower price, new edition

Renault Korea announced Tuesday the launch of the 2027 model year Grand Koleos midsize family SUV along with a new Étoile Edition.

Marking the second anniversary of the Grand Koleos, the 2027 model introduces a new "Satin Nocturne Blue" exterior color and strengthens the price competitiveness of the Iconic trim — the mid-range grade that has proven most popular with customers.

The Iconic trim has been reconfigured around features that improve real-world satisfaction, including sound-insulating windshield glass as standard, a newly added frameless rearview mirror, and solar windshield glass when the augmented-reality head-up display option is selected. By making certain convenience packages optional, Renault Korea cut the trim's price by 450,000 won ($327) compared with the 2026 model year.

The Limited White Edition "Étoile" draws inspiration from the starlit night sky over Paris, adopting an all-white concept. Built on the Esprit Alpine grade, it features a Cloud Pearl body color, dedicated 20-inch two-tone peak alloy wheels and exclusive interior trim, delivering a more differentiated aesthetic.

Deliveries of the Techno trim of Renault's global flagship Filante — which made its domestic debut in March — will begin in September.

The Filante Techno trim maintains the most accessible price point in the lineup while coming loaded with features befitting a flagship model: advanced driver-assistance systems, full LED lamps, frequency-sensitive dampers, 360-degree 3D surround-view monitoring, a power tailgate, an Open R panoramic screen (excluding the front passenger display), unlimited 5G data, AI voice recognition via A. (Edot) Auto, active noise cancellation, and a three-zone fully automatic independent climate control system. The price is 43.95 million won (based on eco-friendly vehicle tax incentives).

Meanwhile, Renault Korea continues to roll out a range of customer-focused marketing initiatives for Grand Koleos buyers, including a "60-Day Return Guarantee Program" that allows customers to drive the vehicle for up to 60 days after purchase and return it under certain conditions.
