LG Uplus partners with Arise AI to build AI agent management framework, targeting B2B market

LG Uplus has teamed up with global AI company Arise AI to build a management framework for operating AI agents, with plans to assess agent quality and identify joint business opportunities in South Korea's business-to-business market.

LG Uplus announced Tuesday that it signed a strategic MOU with Arise AI to cooperate on technology for managing the performance and stability of AI agents.

The agreement was driven by the growing use of AI in corporate work environments, aiming to establish a system that monitors AI agent performance and response quality while proactively identifying and managing errors and risk factors.

The signing ceremony was held at LG Uplus headquarters in Magok, Seoul. Attendees included LG Uplus Chief Technology Officer Lee Sang-yeop and other senior company officials, along with Arise AI Asia-Pacific head Patrick Kelly and Korea country manager Jin Sang-yeol.

Arise AI is a global AI operations management company that measures the performance of generative AI and AI agents and analyzes errors. It provides AI service quality management solutions to customers across a range of industries, including telecommunications, finance, manufacturing and retail.

Under the agreement, the two companies plan to cooperate on technology to monitor AI agent performance and response quality and to analyze and manage errors that may arise during operations. Specific initiatives include collaborating on Korean-language and voice-based AI evaluation technology, developing safeguards to prevent AI from generating inaccurate or inappropriate responses, and identifying joint business opportunities in the domestic B2B market.

LG Uplus said it plans to use the partnership to strengthen its AI operations management capabilities and explore ways to enhance AI services for corporate customers.
