Samsung Electro-Mechanics disclosed Tuesday that it has signed a supply contract for multilayer ceramic capacitors, or MLCCs, with a major global company.
The contract is valued at 1.07 trillion won ($781 million), equivalent to 9.5 percent of the company's 2025 sales.
The agreement covers the full calendar year 2027, running from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31.
The company said it would not disclose the identity of the counterparty, citing a request to protect trade secrets.
