Theme focuses on AI-driven future education
Paju city and the Paju Office of Education will jointly hold the 2026 Paju Career Education Fair on Sept. 11 at Doowon Technical University College's Paju campus.
Held under the theme "AI-Based Future Education," the fair will offer a range of career counseling sessions and hands-on programs designed to help young people understand the changing job market and explore career paths suited to their aptitudes and interests.
This year, the fair will feature department-specific career experience and practice spaces developed in partnership with local universities, giving students a chance to try out tasks related to different fields of study. Career counselors and education office advisers will also be on hand to provide practical guidance on academic and vocational paths.
The hands-on program lineup will center on emerging industries and future education fields — including AI, robotics and semiconductors — tailored to students from elementary through high school. Career guidance for elementary school students will be expanded, while middle and high school students will have access to personalized counseling on university choices and career options.
"We hope this fair will be an opportunity for students to discover their interests and strengths and map out a concrete direction for their futures," said Kim Ji-suk, head of the lifelong education division. "By connecting the expertise of local universities and educational institutions, we expect to offer students broad and practical opportunities to explore their career paths."
