The Korea Racing Authority announced it will hire 15 youth interns under its second experiential youth internship program of 2026, aimed at giving young job seekers hands-on work experience and strengthening their employability.
The positions span four fields: administrative support (8), horse industry specialist (2), AI and big data specialist (1), and illegal activity enforcement support (4). Successful candidates will spend three months gaining practical experience at worksites across the country — including the authority's main facility in Gwacheon and branch offices in Busan, South Gyeongsang Province, Yeongcheon and Guri — or through remote work arrangements.
Applicants must be between 15 and 34 years old, with no restrictions on education level, gender or field of study. The authority will apply a blind hiring process, excluding information such as educational background and family relationships from applications and interviews to ensure fair selection. Particularly, all positions except the horse industry specialist role will be filled through a track reserved for people with disabilities and candidates from socially disadvantaged groups.
Interns who complete the program, as well as those who receive outstanding performance evaluations, will receive preferential treatment — including bonus points in the document screening stage — when the authority holds future full-time recruitment drives.
